Lettlkaser

The hike from the center of Leogang leads to Lettlkaser into the mountain world of the Leoganger Steinberge. Forest sections alternate with alpine meadows, wide paths with root-strewn forest trails and narrow paths. The varied terrain shapes the approach as well as the views along the way.

The small alpine hut offers hearty food in a rustic atmosphere. A rest here includes a view of the Leoganger Steinberge and the Saalfeldener basin. Mountain landscapes and valley basins provide the backdrop for a break after the ascent.

Experienced hikers can reach, among other places, the Hainfeldscharte and the Passauer Hütte from the Lettlkaser. The alpine hut can be planned as a destination for a stop or as an intermediate station for a more advanced mountain tour. The specific requirements for the choice of connecting routes must be considered separately.
